Remote Access, No More Instructing

You can make use of different ways to access your router’s terminal remotely, so you can solve your mom’s Internet issues anywhere with ease. The easiest way to remotely access is through GL.iNet’s own GoodCloud to the router at your parent’s place and maybe even the ones you use occasionally when you are out for work. GL.iNet’s routers are compatible with GoodCloud, which is a platform where you can access all registered routers you own(in this case, yours and your mom’s). You can bind your mom’s router to GoodCloud with our app and conduct configurations remotely whenever she is encountering difficulties connecting to the network. This way you can also use Secure Shel(SSH) to access the router remotely, just by logging into the GoodCloud website. Another way would be to make use of WireGuard with your router network’s public IP. You would have to set up a WireGuard Server and use WireGuard to access your mom’s router via SSH.

By rebooting regularly, the router repairs the connections and clears the cache, keeping it in top operating shape and lowering the chances of getting phone calls about having issues with the router from your mom. Once you’ve set up the time zone for your router, you can toggle the schedule on and off for various aspects of the router. You can schedule the LED display, reboot, and different Wi-Fi frequencies’ statuses.
