Great little travel router

"I could not be more impressed with this travel router! I’ve been holding out on getting one for ages thinking it wouldn’t be super useful. Well I couldn’t have been more wrong. Every time I travel I’m hooking up 3-10 devices (between my spouse and I) to insecure hotel WiFi. Well instead now I’m connecting a single device and done - that alone is worth it. Then I have it connect back to my home VPN securing all my traffic for both of us, she’s not as tech savvy as I am so she wouldn’t bother trying to figure out the hassle. Add to that it enabled us to play some co-op games together without real internet today and our travel day passed by super quick. If you’ve been thinking about getting a travel router, this is the device you want (and need)."

Built for how I actually travel

"I bought the Beryl 7 specifically for international travel between the US and Spain. My main needs are reliable VPN performance and the ability to run AstroWarp when needed. So far, setup has been simple and stable. I’ve been running WireGuard for secure connections on public and hotel Wi-Fi, and performance has been consistent for work tasks, video calls, and streaming. The router handles VPN traffic without feeling sluggish, which is important when everything is going through it. Size and portability were also key for me. It fits easily in my travel bag and feels purpose-built for remote work on the road. I’ll continue testing it over the next few months in different environments, but based on early use, it fits exactly what I needed for secure international travel."

This is great.

"I bought this to replace an older mesh system because I didn't feel like I was getting the full speed from my 1Gb connection. My router also had trouble with our IoT devices. I was about to buy a Dream Router 7 when a friend recommended buying a Flint router instead. This handles all of my devices, offers actual security and I still get great speeds over a VPN connection. I also have the ability to upgrade my WAN connection now. I don't have any 6Ghz devices, so I felt this was enough for what I have (vs the Flint 3). These are so much better than anything an ISP will rent or sell you."
