Best little and cute pocket router
"This mini router has quickly become something I don’t leave home without. Performance has been excellent and consistently meets my expectations. The build quality is impressive, with a solid, premium feel in the hand."
Toller Reiserouter mit kleinen Abstrichen
"Kleiner, toller Reiserouter. Leider mit eingeschränkten Funktionen (kein AdGuard...) und im Vergleich schwaches WLAN. Dafür punktet er mit seinen Abmaßen, Gewicht und Stromverbrauch."
Great improvements made with this new version.
"This unit seems to need less power than many of the earlier GL devices and can power a USB dongle happily off a normal 5w USB power source. It also supports older dongles such as the Huwaei k5161h which the older models struggled with. All in all I am very happy with the improvements and the size and performance of the unit."
"This product is exceptional. Exceeding my expectations. Most compact travel router I have ever owned. I had a pre-order which shipped a couple of days early. I had several pre and post order questions and I wish other companies would benchmark themselves again GL.iNet prompt and professional customer service that actually answer my specify questions. This is my 2nd purchase of one of their products and I am now a customer for life. I have probably had 6-8 different travel routers over the years."
Great Functionaility In Small Package
"Mango 2 is a great little travel router. Lots of functionality for such a small device. Can be simple with just going through the prompts for basic configuration, or if you want to go more in-depth it has got lots of features for the more technical. It is coming travelling with me in my cable bag, as it is much smaller than my Beryl AX which is also a great travel router, but needs much more space to store it. Speed does not matter so much when travelling, as hotel Wi-Fi is normally the bottleneck not the router. Was simple to set-up and joined it to Tailscale with no issues. Need to use LuCI to make a firewall setting change if you want it to be able to use an exit node on your Tailscale network. I rebooted the Mango, so that firewall rules reloaded fresh."
Big speed improvement over the Mango 1
"I got this router on the pre-order discount and so far I am impressed with the speeds you get compared to the first Mango. Have a gigabit LAN connection that I am able to get 500Mbps through on WiFi, which is excellent for size/price. Of course, VPN and other services will throttle this down but still a huge upgrade over the original Mango. My only concern so far is that the device gets a bit warm with the CPU staying at 65-70 degrees, we'll see how this holds up. The other review downvoting because you don't get a screen is nonsense, that's really not required as it just adds bulk and price increase."
"Slow device performance, no screen to see what’s going on."
"Wifi is good"
Perfectly Portable
"Happy to be able to pack this tiny router in any sized bag for any length of trip. I travel with a half a dozen devices - they all connect easily to the Mango. Saves me so much time."
