The most underrated accessory included with each Mudi 7 is the travel case. It protected my Mudi 7 from the heavy rain while only having surface moisture on the outside. Unfortunately the rain got to my books and soaked them, but the travel case having protected my Mudi 7 gives me peace whenever I travel with it. Absolute 10/10 in my opinion.

It is most effective during on-site client visits: When I'm working directly at a server room rack, I use it to hook up to the internet on my own. This bypasses the need for local firewall configurations, and the built-in VPN ensures that I always have secure access to our company servers. I can easily access my secure data and tools without compromising the client's infrastructure.

We had 36 tablets, 14 laptops and 1 printer connected over WiFi to the mudi, plus a Poe switch on the ethernet port connected to 6 Poe cameras and a comet Poe. Spectators were able to live stream the event from the cameras and get real time results, all passed through the mudi. And just to add this was all on battery the entire time.

Battery life has been excellent – it easily lasts through long travel days and extended usage, which is exactly what I was hoping for in a mobile router. "I love it. It Performs very well on network connectivity. Long battery live about 12 hours of use. It has a Fancy looks, just like a smartphone in hands. I mistakely often time press it on the side to have the screen light on, just because it feels like smartphone when I hold it. By its appearance, I was skeptical about absence of antennas on it , but for my surprise, it beats my Spliz xe3000 on connectivity rate and network performance. Gl-INet has scored higher again with this MUDI 7: router, cellular router, modem, access point, tethering, repeater, and wifi extender, all in one device, yes ! The SIM card works very well in both slot and it's easy to maintain the connection locked into a chosen 5g Nr Network Tower, even after many reboots. I often find myself doing "some fancy switch from one devise to another" because I am sometimes confusedby their both similar performances (my Mudi 7 and my Spliz xe3000 ) I'm a lover of GL-INET because of their performance and the freedom of manipulation they give us."

Novel product with great features and hardware.

"Great support and great unit. I had a complex issue with limitations on my SIM card in Canada but support stepped up to the plate to dig deep into the issue and come up with a solution for me. The hardware on this product is ideal for a travelling hotspot. Also great it can receive SMS for those travelling and want to keep their home sim in slot2 for example can still receive 2FA messages."

Fantastic Product Well Worth the Investment

"I bought the GL. iNet Mudi 7 to replace my Netgear MR6450 Pro 5G travel MiFi, which suffered from terrible firmware issues and would regularly lose its connection for hours at a time. I've had very good experiences with GL. iNet products in the past, and the Mudi 7 has been no exception. The firmware is excellent, it's packed with useful features, and offers plenty of advanced settings for those who like to customise their network. I recently took it to a remote part of Provence in the south of France, where it performed brilliantly. It consistently managed a three-bar 5G signal in areas where my iPhone struggled to get any usable reception at all. I also took my Starlink Mini as a backup, but I never needed it. This little device has everything you'd want in a travel router: 2. 5GbE Ethernet, external antenna ports, Wi-Fi 7, and even the ability to charge your phone. My only criticism is that I wish GL. iNet sold the batteries separately. Having a spare fully charged battery would make it even better for longer trips."

Great Product compared with Outstanding Support

"I received my pre-ordered Mudi 7 only last week, as the German carrier lost the origial package. In the mean time, i was able to test the device (and the software!) at home and during the trip in different WLAN environments; being not a very technical consumer, I have to say, that this device is fantastic! I could not use by far all features, but setup & functionality is simple, well documented/guided and performance excellent; there were no failures, or malfunctions during my daily usage so far to report. A last word to the customer service: if I rate the product 5 starts, I need to give the customer service at least 7 stars!!!! The care, responsivness and support I received (namely from Ms. Zoey!) was outstanding and above all my expectations in a already great working service team! So, many thanks again for your help, after I bought the initial device and for providing the replacement if the missing unit fast and without any administrative delays!"
