Simply connect it to the paid network once, and then share secure Wi-Fi with your phone, laptop, tablet, and more-all under a single access cost. Maximize your connectivity while you minimize your expenses and effortlessly bypass the captive portals with a one-time setup-no repeated logins required.

*Note: Travel routers may be prohibited by some cruise lines. Please check the specific regulations of your cruise line before use.

Stream Your Home Media, Anywhere

With Beryl 7, any hotel room can become your private theater. Connect to the hotel Wi-Fi, activate the built-in ultra-fast VPN client to access your home server, and plug in your streaming device or smart TV. Instantly, enjoy your personal media library and stream 8K content at high speed with complete privacy—as if you never left home.

File Sharing for Family Trips and Team Travel

Beryl 7 makes media and document sharing effortless during group travel. Connect an external USB drive to instantly create a private network storage space, supporting 120+ connected devices simultaneously. Family members or team members can securely access and share photos, videos, and work files—without relying on unstable public networks or limited cloud services. Everyone stays connected through a centralized, secure hub, making collaboration and memory-sharing seamless wherever you go.

Remote NAS Access & Backup on the Go

With Beryl 7 acting as a VPN client, you can securely connect back to your home network anytime, anywhere. Paired with the Brume 3 (GL-MT5000) at home, it enables seamless remote access to your NAS devices, letting you manage files, stream media, or even perform real-time photo backups directly to your home storage. This setup ensures your personal data remains private and protected over encrypted connections, while giving you LAN-like access as if you were physically at home.

Drop-Free Calls, Anywhere You Roam

For digital nomads, a reliable internet connection is essential. Beryl 7 can turn any location—a café, co-working space, or beachside apartment—into a secure, productive remote office. It ensures crystal-clear VoIP calls and stable video conferences, while a dedicated guest network keeps your main connection secure for client collaborations.

Secure Access to Your Internal Network

For business travelers, accessing company resources restricted to specific office IP addresses can be challenging. Beryl 7 solves this seamlessly. Pre-configured with OpenVPN and WireGuard, it can act as a VPN client to securely connect back to your office network, giving you access to internal systems, file servers, or managed printers—as if you were physically in the office—all over a fully encrypted connection.

Versatile Connectivity for Uninterrupted Access

Never settle for weak signals. Beyond multiple connection methods—including Ethernet, Wi-Fi repeating, and cellular tethering—Beryl 7 is truly smart. Its advanced Multi-WAN feature provides automatic failover, constantly monitoring networks and switching to the best available connection to prevent drops. This ensures a robust, private network with the consistent high performance needed for gaming, 8K streaming and other data-intensive tasks.

Transform Your Mobile Hotspots into a Powerful Home Network

Beryl 7 can turn your Mobile Hotspots or smartphone data plan into a high-performance Wi-Fi 7 network. Simply connect via USB and activate tethering mode, and it will receive the cellular signal and rebroadcast it as a superior Wi-Fi network throughout your space. With support for over 120 simultaneous connections, every device enjoys stable, high-speed internet—eliminating weak signals and connectivity limitations once and for all.

Unlock Global Content in Your Dorm Room

Beryl 7 lets you and your roommates bypass geographical restrictions simultaneously using a single VPN account. Supporting 30+ VPN service providers, this compact router provides seamless access to region-locked streaming services and video game platforms across all your devices. It also lets you apply VPN protection to the entire network or select specific devices, eliminating the need for individual per-device VPN subscriptions while ensuring everyone can enjoy their preferred content without compromise.

Encrypted Remote Access for Traveling Homelabbers and Media Lovers

For homelab enthusiasts and media collectors who travel, the Beryl 7 ensures your entire home network is always within reach. By establishing high-speed encrypted tunnels via WireGuard or OpenVPN, it provides seamless, secure access to your home servers, development environments, and personal media libraries from anywhere. This eliminates the risks of public internet exposure while delivering LAN-like responsiveness, letting you manage critical services or stream your movie collection as if you were locally connected.

Wire-free Control for Wired Devices

Beryl 7 enables seamless wireless control for Ethernet-only devices through a simple setup: connect the device to the router's LAN port and use your smartphone or tablet for wireless management. This compact solution is ideal for digital audio systems, mini-PCs, PLCs, and other equipment lacking native wireless capability. With flexible uplink options including Wi-Fi relay, Ethernet/USB tethering, plus built-in VPN support for secure data transmission, Beryl 7 provides a complete connectivity solution in a minimal footprint.

What Beta Testers are Saying

The device worked stably both at home and during my vacation. At home, I connected it to my IoT network (40+ devices), and everything was stable.

@amuzyche

I love the Beryl 7 ... is the perfect mix of portability and power. Its slim design fits anywhere, while the performance ensures I stay securely connected to my home network—no matter where I am.

@halb_Tarif

I am a long-time user of GL.iNet devices, and ... they have never let me down, are incredibly easy to set up, and have proven to be an invaluable tool for both travel and everyday connectivity. Their latest addition, the Beryl 7, is an outstanding device that upholds GL.iNet’s tradition of providing reliable, and fault-free travel networking solutions.

@alex_591713

Repeating American Airlines inflight. Set up was super smooth.

@Randomstart

In summary, I found the product impressive. The build quality is strong, the colour choice gives it a modern feel, and its Wi-Fi 7 performance was comparable to the Slate 7 I tested recently. It stands out as a solid, more budget-friendly alternative to the Slate 7 for users who don’t require a display.

@mnavis29

I'm using mine at another job site onsite in an office. Connected right up to their guest WiFi with breeze and created my own private little network for my work laptop and phone. Been running smooth and haven't had anymore issues with Adguard. I was on the other side of the building with my laptop with multiple walls and brick in between and still getting some signal from it.

@Xdarkhawkx

As the predecessor, the Beryl and Beryl AX, for sure the newcomer is a great platform for frequent travelers with basic network knowledge as well as for OpenWrt enthusiasts.

Faster than UniFi UTR and Beryl AX!

"I’m deep in the UniFi ecosystem at home, so I almost went with the UniFi UTR, but I am so glad I chose the Beryl 7 instead. Even though I love the UniFi app, the Beryl 7 is just a better piece of hardware for travel. Compared to my old Beryl AX, the speed jump is massive. But the real winner is the VPN performance. It’s noticeably faster and more stable than the UniFi UTR. On the UTR, you feel the 'lag' of the older Wi-Fi 5 tech, but this Beryl 7 with Wi-Fi 7 is snappy and handles encrypted traffic like a beast. It’s still the perfect compact size for a backpack, and it gives me the advanced features (like easy MAC cloning for hotel Wi-Fi) that UniFi is still missing. If you want the best VPN speeds in a small box, don't let the ecosystem trap you—this is the superior choice."

Ethanol (5/5)

Huge upgrade

"I purchased the Beryl 7 to replace my aging Beryl original and the performance has been fantastic. I have used this many times while travelling, so I don't have to reconnect all of my devices, I plug it in anywhere, and I'm back online. I most appreciate the upgraded storage space and native ControlD integration."

Frank J. (5/5)

Reliable device, quick to set

"Reliable device, quick to set up and get working with commercial and personal VPN servers, including policies for individual devices for different servers, As Guard etc. Quick boot times, and works as well as AX variant. So only preference would be a subtler colour, but otherwise a perfect device for my use case."

Neil B. (5/5)

This device is a little powerhouse!

"With the powerfull 2. 0ghz quad core this small form travel router is really fast. compared to older models most cpu clocks are around 1. 3ghz so this is something amazing to consider if high speed is important for things like streaming. The size is also very good, if I would compare this to the Slate 7, I had more difficulty of removing my router from the GL-iNet travel organizer case. In my opinion truly an hidden gem compared to the Slate 7 (non pro), tri-band is not so important to me, so this is a nice middle between the Slate 7 and the Slate 7 pro when it's released."

Guido L. (5/5)

Highly recommend for travel!

"A wonderful and very portable router! It went with us everywhere across the Canary Islands. The color is quite unique, and my wife loves the design. Having an extra USB port is great because it allowed us to hook up a modem."

Andrii (5/5)

A great mini router for your every need

"Great mini router, perfect for my trips. It has plenty of hardware for it's size. For day to day work on a trip, it will do his job flawlessly."

Florin (5/5)

Beryl 7 my new green speed machine

"I received my new Beryl 7 on the 16 Feb 2026. As a Gl. iNet router fan I went home to document my current settings in my older Gl. iNet router to migrate these settings over to my new "Green Beast" the Beryl 7. I live in an apartment so the Beryl is suited to my home and travel needs. I kicked the ISP connection successfully allowing my ISP to sync to the Beryl 7. After around 30 minutes all my settings and services had been migrated across and I was away and racing with the new Beryl 7 aka the "Green Beast". I noted a boost in overall performance and the welcoming interface which made the migration easy. I've setup SQM and packet steering through the Luci interface as I'm a heavy internet user. I'm also running other services on the Beryl 7 and it just zooms through these tasks distributing the traffic acorss my network. A super experience and great purchase. Thanks Gl. iNet, keep up the great product releases and firmware updates."

JG (5/5)

Small Size, Big Performance

"Excellent compact router with a rich feature set and very easy setup. Everything works smoothly and reliably, and there are plenty of useful functions for both everyday use and more advanced scenarios. I also really like the design - the new color looks fresh, modern, and very appealing. I have been using the previous MT-3000 model for a long time, and it has never disappointed me. It’s a very solid and reliable router that handles its tasks extremely well. That said, the GL-MT3600BE is a noticeable step forward: dual 2. 5G Ethernet ports, a more powerful 4-core processor instead of a dual-core one, and 512 MB of RAM instead of 256 MB make a real difference in performance and future-proofing. As a result, I’m very happy with this purchase. The new router perfectly complements my existing setup, and I’m keeping both devices in use. Thank you for a high-quality product - highly recommended!"
