GL.iNet Launches Flint 4, the BE14000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Home Router

GL.iNet Flint 4 BE14000 tri-band Wi-Fi 7 home router

HONG KONG, August 4, 2026 — GL.iNet, a developer of secure networking and remote access solutions, today announced that Flint 4 (GL-BE14000), its new BE14000 tri-band Wi-Fi 7 home router, is available for pre-order through the official GL.iNet online store.

Designed for power users, homelab enthusiasts, content creators, remote workers, and small businesses, Flint 4 combines tri-band Wi-Fi 7, dual 10G connectivity, extensive multi-gigabit connectivity, high-speed VPN performance, and flexible network controls in one platform.

Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Performance

Flint 4 features BE14000-class tri-band Wi-Fi 7 across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands.

Its Wi-Fi 7 Multi-Link Operation supports the Multi-Link Multi-Radio (MLMR) STR method, which allows compatible devices to simultaneously transmit data across multiple wireless links. This specific MLO method maximizes throughput, reduces latency, and helps maintain more stable connections in busy network environments.

The high-capacity wireless architecture is designed for demanding network activities with many simultaneously connected devices. Under controlled laboratory testing conditions, Flint 4 supports up to 250 connected devices and provides wireless coverage of up to 3,100 square feet.

Dual 10G and Multi-gigabit Wired Connectivity

Flint 4 provides a comprehensive range of high-speed wired network interfaces.

The dedicated 10G SFP+ and 10G WAN/LAN ports provide high-speed connectivity for multi-gigabit internet services, NAS systems, servers, network switches, and homelab environments.

The additional 2.5 GbE and Gigabit Ethernet ports allow Flint 4 to serve as the central wired networking hub for homes and small professional environments with multiple connected systems.

VPN Performance up to 1.5 Gbps

Flint 4 supports both VPN client and VPN server functionality, with WireGuard® and OpenVPN DCO performance reaching up to 1.5 Gbps under controlled laboratory testing conditions. Flint 4 is compatible with more than 30 VPN service providers, making it suitable for whole-home VPN protection, secure remote access, remote work, and advanced network configurations.

High-Performance Hardware for Demanding Networks

Flint 4 is powered by the MediaTek Filogic 880 platform and equipped with 2 GB of DDR4 memory. This hardware architecture is designed to support high-throughput data forwarding, encrypted VPN traffic, multiple connected devices, and simultaneous network services while maintaining stable and responsive performance. Flint 4 also includes 64 GB of built-in eMMC storage, providing additional capacity for firmware, system data, logs, and supported network functions.

Integrated 2.4-Inch Touchscreen

Flint 4 features an integrated 2.4-inch touchscreen that provides direct access to essential network information and frequently used controls. Users can view system and connection status directly from the router and access selected controls without opening the web administration panel or a mobile application. This makes it easier to monitor key network information at a glance.

Dual USB 3.0 Expansion

Flint 4 includes one USB-A 3.0 port and one USB-C 3.0 port for connecting compatible external storage devices. With external storage connected, users can share files and stream media across their local network.

Pre-order Availability

Flint 4 (GL-BE14000) is available for pre-order starting August 4, 2026, at US$299, exclusively through the official GL.iNet online store. Pricing, availability, supported wireless frequencies, and product configurations may vary by country or region.
