I selected this in order to control a mac mini in my network cabinet which serves as a media server, but I also done some other testing as well prior to putting it fully in place.
On a windows machine it worked perfectly for controlling of a PC, with very little input lag. I did try my luck with a game, and while it did control without issue, the stream quality of the video was not very good. This is defiantly more suited for remote productivity, which it does excellently.
It worked perfectly on my mac mini; this is going to save endless of cable trailing when I need to adjust the settings.

This is the ipKVM that many have been waiting for - a truly affordable ipKVM. I never understood the hype with PiKVM, saying its price point made it easily accessible, it felt too expensive to me. Compare it to the GL.inet Comet and its base hardware package is more expensive than the Comet, *and* needs a raspberry pi, also more expensive than the Comet ... or you can get one with everything fully put together for 3x the price of the Comet

The gl.iNet KVM remote control impressed me with its 4K resolution and Tailscale support. It enables stable and smooth remote control of keyboard, video and mouse — ideal for home offices, data centers or IT administration. I find the wide range of applications particularly practical, even in industrial environments. The setup is a bit technical, but in return, you get a reliable solution to efficiently manage systems remotely. Overall, a solid tool for anyone who needs full remote control.
